Ice For Good

Investing in our Community & Employees (ICE)

Like our ice spheres, our commitment to our community and our employees is crystal clear: we strive to provide an environment where each employee that walks in to Lux Ice walks out the door better-equipped to pursue their professional goals. Thanks to our partnership with The Storehouse, a nonprofit organization, each bag of Lux Ice you purchase helps transform the lives of our team members.

Food is just the start

Partnership with The Storehouse of Collin County

The Storehouse of Collin County is a nonprofit located in Plano, Texas that provides food, clothing, resources, and education opportunities for our neighbors. Over 5,000 food insecure families visit The Storehouse food pantry monthly. Understanding that many neighbors have needs beyond food, The Storehouse provides a pathway to transformation for individuals who visit the pantry to receive additional support through its other programs.

Pathway to Transformation

The nonprofit’s education program provides opportunities for neighbors to receive language, job, and life skills training. Through their Work Well Methodology, The Storehouse identifies job-ready neighbors and refers candidates to Lux Ice. Once hired, The Storehouse continues providing mentorship to help ensure the neighbors’ professional success. The goal is to transform each neighbor’s life so that they no longer need services at The Storehouse.

Slow-melting ice. Life-changing ice.
